   I am 40 years old and was very young when that incident happened, so I don’t have a very vivid memory of it. However, being a huge fan of baseball, and also having a father who was a Marine, I will never forget Mr. Monday’s act of patriotism and will, for the rest of my days, hold him in the highest regards as one of the greatest Americans who ever played the game.
