I’d say “only liberals could substitute an insult for an argument,” but that would make me… um? Hmm.
So instead I’ll stick to the sarcasm template response: “that’s an excellent point, Mike. I never thought about it like that before.”

of course your rejoinder, mick wright, would be disingenuous, since you’re already tracking an insult a conservative substituted fro an argument.

Good catch, Jonathan, but actually what I’m tracking is more of a boast or an inaccuracy — that which nullifies the insult.
