This was the view outside our door this morning. Er, not. But that’s what the news told us to expect. No snow yet. Not even ice.
UPDATE: Ok, so they were off by one day. I can’t believe they close all the schools for this.

I think the local weatherpeople just get their jollies getting my hopes up about snow, only for them to be dashed almost every time. :(

In Texas, we would never allow our grill’s to be covered in snow for any amount of time. We have a few inches of snow over the last few days, but the fajitas and steak keep comin.

Don’t you love weathermen. Ours are supposed to be some of the best anywhere but every time they expect anything, they are like Chicken Little. “Oh No. Oh No. THere is a 134% chance that civilization is coming to an end. DO NOT change the channel or you will die!”

I know! I’ve been to school when there was 2 and 1/2 feet of snow on the ground. Not to mention the wind chill being 40 below. YUCK!
