I hereby challenge Chris Davis (a.k.a. Pesky Fly), the blogger, Leftist moonbat employee of the Memphis Flyer and offensive epithet factory, to a live, in-person debate, held in a neutral forum and moderated by an agreed-upon volunteer.
I’ll give Mr. Davis until Midnight on Feb. 15 to accept my offer. If he declines or fails to respond by the deadline, I will from that point on ignore (to the best of my ability) all the childish name calling he tries to pass off as intellectualism and remove that eternally-nonreciprocal link from my blogroll.
If Mr. Davis accepts the invitation before the deadline, I will give him eight additional weeks to agree on a moderator, location, format and date. If he fails to commit on these specifics within that time period, same rule applies, plus I will construct a crude effigy of him and parade it through the streets of Marty Aussenberg’s lily white enclave, whereupon onlookers will have an opportunity to heap scorn.

It’ll be bigger than Herenton vs Frazier!

Yes, and all proceeds will be donated to the Shelby County Kangaroo Court…

Someone is selling these tickets on e-bay already…..

Will he wear the hat?

Since I am an independant I volunteer to be the moderator . . . completely unbiased . . . mmmmhmmmm

I wish I could be there for that.

I might pay money to see that.

Another example of conservowastefulness. What else is blogtopia but the ongoing dialogue? Whssamatta Mick, need a venue where you can turn up the volume? Our readers can moderate. Or if you want one person, then you pick. Hell, pick Hollihan so you’ve got a head start. Crap– let’s just say you’re the winner and send out a press release. I’d rather wrap this up here.
You’ve been comparing a fight over balance of powers issues to a nonbinding resolution concerning the war in Iraq. These are two different legislative stories that share a procedural narrative. There’s no nuclear option– no bids for unilateral control. These events are unique in purpose and context. Your central point: The MSM’s reporting on the Iraq resolution is proof of a liberal media bias.
My proof you’re wrong?:
90% of MSM reporting from the day Clinton dipped his cigar in the wrong brandy through the 2000 election, WMD, shock and awe, Mission Accomplished, building schools in Iraq, and pretty much everything that’s happened since.
You’re making a biased 1 to 1 comparison of two unlike legislative events that share a common procedure and using it to make the sweeping claim that the media is biased against your bias. It’s just bad, silly science.
To tag you for making a vastly silly generalization I turned your post into a biased generalization of my very own. It’s called satire my friend. And I added the Assclown bit only because I know you have a love/hate relationship with my vulgaraties. If you need, I can provide linkage wherein you covet a certain award.
How many personalities do you have Mick? One day you want to be playfully combative, the next you’re popping a gear because I’m making fun of your liberal media cliches?
What gives?

Was that a yes or a no?

Oh, and that lack of reciprocation on the blogroll is ENTIRELY my fault. I was supposed to do the blogroll weeks ago and I have been distracted by a beautiful woman. I probably ought to do that right this minute.
The blogroll may not be up, but you are already on it, Mick.

I think Chris is still filibustering.
