Mick Wright is a writer, community activist and marketing professional specializing in non-profit communications.

Since 2003, Mick has worked for Youth Villages, where he is senior coordinator of digital marketing and communications. Mick is also the founder of Visible Proof Media, a communications consulting firm.

Mick’s writing has been featured in the Memphis Flyer, the Bartlett Express, the Mainstreet Journal, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, the Rules for Patriots Podcast and elsewhere.

As a community activist, Mick has served in leadership roles for several philanthropic organizations, including the Bartlett Chamber Foundation and the Bartlett Education Foundation.

Mick earned his Master of Public Administration degree from Strayer University and is a graduate of Harding University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He is a native of Des Moines, Iowa, where he became a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs.

Mick and his wife, Alison, are members of the Memphis Runners Track Club and the Bartlett Runners Club.
