Mick WrightMick Wright is a freelance journalist living in Memphis, Tennessee. His work has been featured online at websites such as NewsBusters.org and Slate.com, as well as occasionally in print, most notably in the Main Street Journal, a monthly news and opinion magazine covering politics and culture.

Locally, Mick has been featured by the Memphis daily newspaper, The Commercial Appeal, as well as both praised and criticized by the alt-weekly Memphis Flyer.

Mick’s blogging interests include national and local politics, media bias, church-state issues, religion, popular culture, Chicago Cubs baseball, and the near futility of dieting.

Mick is married to Alison, a pediatric ICU nurse, and is the proud uncle of two wonderful nieces, Anna and Abby, and a nephew, Alex. He worships at Sycamore View Church of Christ in Bartlett and has his hands full with two Cocker Spaniel puppies, Eden and Freckles.
